Ok in gncd -   What I'm noticing is when sculpting.. It all goes blocky..
It changes once applied.  But not smoothed sculpting in real time as on PC.

Makes accurate sculpting very hard as is.

Is this a setting issue?

Game play is lightning fast,  but finding gncd a bit slow..
Just when applying a setting .. Such as applying a sculpt.
Seems a good 3-4 secs longer wait to implement.

Again,  a setting issue?

Please let me know hb

Lorin said it wasn't the full update and they were just testing the pipeline.

He was referring to the XB1 version.  I will look in to this, but have a few things we are addressing right at this moment.  As soon as we can look at this I will get back to you.

Anyone else playing xbox having this issue?

Hb is a fix coming?  Strange this wasn't seen at final check?
Pretty big issue.. For designing.

Also the dropped connection.  Is this a server size issue?

Yes very hard to sculpt land with massive cliffs showing when trying to do a slight downhill slope  :o

Any idea on the time line for this fix hb.  Can't design a course if can't sculpt. ?

Hey hb.  Was just wondering.. Where this sculpting issue comes from.
Is this a server issue.. Or a software  code bug.. Ie something in the software downloaded.

The reason I ask.. Is - will this issue just go away.. At some point when we open the game on the xbox.
Or , will we be re downloading the game.. Or a patch.

Reason I ask that.. Is it would be good to know what to look for. Rather than booting all the way to the course designer, pulling out the flatten tool and only knowing by testing.
As opposed to.. Turning in the game and recognizing ..seeing an auto update..
Or a message to re download. ?

Also if it's on the software downloaded side.
Is there a process that hb has to go through.. Getting that update passed through Microsoft.
(Obviously this would cause a delay.. And in my mind.. I'll be adding at least another week.. Before the fix arrives.)

Or is hb able to update /patch console softwares on the fly.. As they seem to do with the PC system(steam)

Would kinda be great to get an announcement from hb.. Perhaps in the update patch support section..
That states:

We recognize:  these issues: eg:
1) sculpting tool issue - fix coming (approx intended date)
2) connection issue - - fix coming (approx intended date)

This way.. Us users... Would a be able to find out clearly what bugs hb has officially recognized and is working on. And perhaps what they haven't (so those could be pointed out)

This would save a lot of sporadic repetitious bug reporting..populating the forums
And also give the users a clear one stop place (announcement) to see what issues are being worked on...and a (hoped /intended fix date) .

Just a thought.  As I have made clear , I love the game, love hb. Not here to criticize just offer ideas that may help :)

Yeah I hate to say this but sculpting is completely broken and rendering the course designer useless at this time. I tried for 45 minutes to smooth out a rough section of my fairway and it wouldn't work. Hopefully this is addressed soon, this is the feature I wanted the most :(

Glad you lot have posted this as I'm experiencing the exact same thing.  Just a big polygon mess where the brush should be.  I gave up on the simplest of tasks last night, and shan't be revisiting the GNCD until it is addressed as it is pointless at the mo'.  My local course shall have to wait  :o
