Pure Pool worth the $12.99 then?
I would say a definite yes to that.
In my opinion the best feeling pool game I have ever played.
The action of the cue with the thumbstick feels spot on. After a while you can play all sorts of shots and your positioning(shape for you north Americans) becomes second nature. The graphics are wonderful too.
The only issues I have with it at the moment are - the A.I. is a little too erratic, they are very good but play some really stupid shots at times. Also the ability to masse the ball seems impossible, I don't know if that comes with unlocking stuff later on? I have tried jacking the cue right up and hitting as far to the side of the ball that it allows you to, but still only get a mild swerve on the ball. The cushions feel a little too dull as well, they could do with being a little more springy. The table cloth feels very good, nice and fast.
I haven't tried to play online yet, but have played a fair bit of the one player stuff, I am very much enjoying it.
Edit - There doesn't seem to be the option to push out after a break, when you are left snookered?
