While creating a course I raised an island out of the water to make a stop gap if u choose from teeing off, but it won't let me add fairway to it can u help!!!

can you describe the steps you went through before you saw this? Was there already a hole laid out and you raised the land out of the water or did you do this and then draw the hole over the area?  Also were you trying to add the fairway automatically or were you placing it with one of the surface brushes?

Were you using the red or blue brush to raise the terrain out of the water? 

Also, what console are you seeing this on?

raise the elevation a bit more and you should be able to add the fairway.   had that happen to me as well.  Something to do with to close to the water table or something?

Ive had the happen. Raising terrain using edit hole brush out of the water. No matter the elevation cant add fairway only rough and heavy rough. Ive tried raising and lowering anf rasing over and over in dame spot and doent work.

Its inconsistent when it happens but it happens. Im on xbox.

You have to raise with the red brush in the Terrain section.
