Although I respect anyone's preference on what type of swing device they prefer I myself can not stand a true swing or a golden tee swing type. I like the good old 3 click swing meter. I am curious as to how many people feel the same way I do. Just for the heck of it could you guy's post what kind of swing device you prefer? I am hoping there  will be enough people that agree with me and maybe HB will take that into consideration and implement a 3 click style meter. For me I would not purchase the game without a 3 click option.
Thanks

Controller, Analog, tempo sensitive, & punitive for off-center (whether a straight or diagonal swing).

I prefer all of the above except the diagonal swing. For me, in TW 14 it felt unnatural and contrived.

As a gamer who primarily games on a console, I prefer thumbstick controllers for golf games. I didn't like the diagonal swing that Tiger 14 used to derive its difficulty... it did feel phoney.

As soon as someone makes proper use of the Move or Kinect in a golf game I truly want to play, I'll probably prefer that method.  I'd still like to have the thumbstick option for occasions when I want to kick back in my recliner and play a more relaxing game.

Console gamer ( no closed beta for me  :'( )
Controller,Analogue swing, tempo feel, can't be to easy to hit straight.

I think the future of video game golf should be a hybrid of Three click & Analogue movement.

Thumbstick for me. As far as the diagonal swing in TW, that was the furthest thing away from playing golf I ever saw. I like tour pro but not with the diagonal swing and wind gusts on every shot.

pc gamer here even though ive played quite a few golf games with the 3-click meter, ive always thought of them being a bit to easy.Since trying the 360 controller analog stick swing i think it feels more realistic than just click-click-click.

I've always used a mouse & meter in the links golf games and it's my preferred method, or though I have borrowed a nephew's Xbox 360 controller to try if I'm selected for the beta

I play powerstroke on Links 2003 on PC. This is a sort of analogue/click hybrid. You hold the mouse button down, pull the mouse right for your backswing, then left to swing at the ball. During your downswing you then release the mouse button at impact to try to keep the clubface square to the ball. I have found this to be far the most realistic way to play a golf game/sim in all the many years that I've been playing them. I find it captures perfectly the complexities of a real golf swing and leads to challenging rounds! ;)
On consoles I have always preferred analogue sticks to the click swing.

3 click here, played all my golf games with 3click and never had the feeling I had an advantage against other swing rypes, so no reason for me to change

3 click mouse here as well... although I have tried Powerstroke in Links 2003... its not bad, but I definitely prefer click.   I have a PS3 and quite honestly, as a PC gamer, I can't stand those controllers.

I'm mostly a console gamer, but we have another thing in common - we both can't stand the PS3 controller!  ;D  I can say that because I've owned one since 2009!  It's way too small and the sticks are loose and sloppy.  It works good for Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational because it's a 3-clicker.  The rest of the gaming I do on the PS3 utilizes my Fanatec GT2 steering wheel 8)

A sensitive analog stick swing is the best way by far, its easily the most realistic way to swing a club in a golf game.
