I bet Alan still plays with green grids turned on,  :-*

Not sure if your being sarcastic or not, but it would be virtually impossible to read the greens w/o a grid unless they were severe slopes.  You could not tell the difference between a straight putt and a putt that broke a foot outside the hole.  I dont see how that would be fun and enjoyable unless you like playing a game of mystery putt.
On other Golf sims the put , with no green grid On, can be read via an option from a camera view by selecting a view from behind the Cup, i don`t know if this game has that ?.

You can move the camera around with the right stick, but I would like to see a button added that will give you a quick view from behind the hole.

I think this depends much on which monitor and maybe what kind of graphics you use. When playing TWO without grids, I couldn't see any differences. All I saw was a big green area but not even a bit of a slope or anything else. Not sure if I had any settings which made it unreadable, but I never had a lill idea where the ball would go. I would prefer a lill kind of hole preview where you can see the topgraphic of the whole area incl. green topography. But I think I'd prefer grids :)

This looks like a very cool game, but until they implement the 3 Click Option, I will not be buying it.  All out there who prefer to use the other system that's just fine, but at least give us the OPTION of which control to use.  You can tell me as much as you like that we to try something new and get away from the older way of doing things, but that is just your opinion and has no bearing on me.  I want the option to use which ever system allows me to enjoy the game. That is the bottom line as far as I am concerned.

I dont think you will see the 3-click, which is a shame ..I also prefer 3 click control over pull/push controls as the ability to miss a shot is greater, and right now..its very hard to mis****...console style play on a PC doesnt cut it for me either, but I have bought the game so will play it a little...and then go back to WGT for my 3 click fix.

This 100 times!
Myself and 3 buddies really want this game, but will not buy it until there is a 3 click.
This isn't very hard at all to add. In fact, it is very simple. So if it doesn't get added it will be because the devs stubbornness.

Well, obviously all of us who have played pc golf , have played 3-click or TS. As a progressive sort, when this game came out i decided that i would buy a controller. It was, imo, a good decision. I love playing this game with a controller. I doubt that i would consider going back to playing online golf any other way. This feels like golf.  Maybe it's just me, but don't knock it until you've tried it.....

I don't think anyone is knocking it...  they just prefer 3click.   I also have bought a controller and given a choice, I still like 3 click better.   However, I have learned to adapt by using a controller.   Its not bad, but it is a very simple concept to the point where drives are always 100% in the fairway... kind of silly if you ask me.

back in the day when three click was king I used it but it never kept my interest personally because for me it lacked any kind of fluidity like a real golf swing would have.    I'm not sure if hbs is going to add  three click to the game ever just as I don't think they're going to add sony move support.

I think there is no harm in adding it,  but I believe its way on the back burner if on the radar at all.

I slice constantly, if I had to guess what my GIR was I'd say about 40%. Even then I like this way of swinging the club..same as MLB the Show..just seems natural to me. Personally, I hated the 3-click. Haven't used it in years..
