Hey gcwbosox, can you describe the sounds that you are hearing?  And have you tried hard resetting your system, clearing cache or reinstalling?

 I wrote poo in the subject - that's a typo  :P - I meant pop.

I get a sound in the menu similar to the pre-patch, not as often but it's regular.   I get a similar sound going from scorecard to the next tee when in a round.

Best way I can describe it is a popping sound like the intended sound is stuck for a split second.

Hope that helps.

I get exactly the same issue that gcwbosox describes, clearing cache etc doesn't make a difference. Strangely it did seem to improve after the patch, but has crept back in and is pretty noticeable again.

Is it almost like the sound clip is played multiple times?  Sounds like a similar issue we had experienced a few weeks back.  Thanks for the report, we'll look into it! Please let me know if the update clears it up when it's out.

Yes that is exactly it Adam, I find it most noticeable after a shot if John is still commentating, if I press A to advance his voice takes on a kind of electronic stutter.

Stuttering John still there after update, and it's every bit as bad as before.

I actually think it got worse.  It was an occasional thing before and now its persistent and bordering on annoying.

Had the effect -

In menus before starting a round
In settings when messing with new cameras
When leaving score card to go to next hole
ONCE at impact of a shot
Occasional dialogue ssstttttuttttttterrrrrr

Agreed. Still getting popping. Never went away in the first patch either. I'm baffled this is so hard to fix as I've never experienced it in any other game before.

Suggestion.  Get rid of the sound in the menus all together.  Is it really necessary?  Easy solution it would seem.

Just me or has this continued to get worse?  I have had instances in game with shot sound.  This didn't happen before.

You can turn off the Menu sounds in Settings > Audio > UI SFX

Has this been getting worse for everyone?  We're quite sure we have it fixed on our end but did not feel it was worth submitting and waiting for a patch with an update coming up.

I've pretty much stopped playing this to be honest. I figure as it's a digital game I'll always own it regardless so will just wait for the updates and much needed improvements to arrive.

It's no bad thing though, I've been bookmarking a ton of courses I want to play so once the update hits, and provided it improves on the rather poor Xbox graphics then I'll be tearing it up with a vengeance again.

So take your time guys, the game isn't going anywhere and I'd rather see it done right :)
