Please give this course a try. Is my third course and the best of the 3.

It's a rural theme with 7292 yards and a par of 72. Med-fast greens with some birdie chances and bogie "chances" if you were out too late the night before.

--Just played with 14mph winds and had to scramble to save my life. Shot +3 and only had six pars. I may soften the greens up cause even with semi-knowing where to hit them I was still blowing through them with the wind having a major effect. I also need to smooth out some fairway edges.

Please give some feedback!

This is a "double WOW" and a double FAVE".............Move this over to course discovery ..completed.. What a brilliant design, what a brilliant golf course.........this will, and should be played many times over...This is a "tour" golf course, please submit , i absolutely love this course......I do want you to do another version, with more light...that was the reason for "double fave"....IMHO, this is one of the top courses in this game...........BRILLIANT...... ;D

Thanks so much karma glad you enjoyed the round. Next course you have first rights to the public to play for free on its innagural Day 1 launch. I'll even throw in a sammich and a candy bar of your choice!

Just played in 6mph wind and shot -1. Whew the difference can make on this baby.

gotta say i love this course

great layout and visually fantastic.

the first hole with strong winds there is a problem as you get stuck behind the trees on right and cant take a shot to green being a par 4
maybe check that out.

also your right saying need to smooth the edges of fairways, as my ball landed on edge of fairway but rolled off easily and down into water

so well done mate, this is a keeper for sure

thanks for your effort mate

Just played and enjoyed this course very much,

I enjoyed the course layout and shaping, and the placement of many trees that shape the holes and force players to shape the ball.  I have noticed this becoming a theme on your courses.   Nice work!

a few quick tips that i think would help improve this course.
-I would like a slightly later tee time so i dont have to stare into the sun for what seemed like the first 6 or 7 holes.  I would raise it just a bit so you still have the shadows to make the contours pop.
-I had a tough time holding the greens with the speeds and what seemed like fairly random contours.  on the bright side i got to practice my chipping a lot.
I suppose its a personal preference but i would tend to use larger shapes to contour, instead of having many small bumps and dips.  When i shape greens i try to keep in mind that real life greens must surface drain.  most will slope from back to front, which also help hold the approach shots.
-I really liked the paths that you have put in, one thing you could do to improve them is to flatten them a bit.  I use the softest circle to flatten mine.  You can click and drag along your path to soften them a bit wile still blending in with the surrounding contours.
-Lastly i felt like the 16th hole kind of went away from the theme of the course, and i thought i was playing a links course.  Don't get me wrong, it was a great hole, but the second fairway bunker and greenside bunker kind of broke theme.

Hopefully this helps.

I really enjoyed your course. I just played it in similar conditions you posted and was with you at +3 and felt like I was scrambling the entire time. I do agree about softening the fairways/greens just a touch. Great course!

Thanks nick and banjo I Def value yalls opinions!

Will change lighting slightly after getting feedback multiple times on that.
Need to Flatten paths, had that in mind, and then forgot, thanks.
Most importantly, I will slow the greens and will use the "drain philosophy" - makes sense and will feature that on The Eighteen at Majestic Pines,  my next course.

Kudos fellas.

Excellent !  :)
Just 2 little details i spotted:
Rough "island" in fw 6 misses rough or heavyrough (black water stripes).
12 looks to "cultivated" for the style/character of the course.

Brother I just published before your comment! :-\

Comments like hole 12 and 16 not fitting in come up fir 2 reasons I believe. One, my time designing is so spread out I can lose the feel of a course sometimes (even playing it constantly during test didn't always help). Two, I play other's courses and get "distracted" with their design and lose mine again.

Any tips on this??

What i do while designing is quit simple. When i create a hole and testplay it, i allways start 2 or 3 holes before the last, to kinda get in the mood....
Maybe this might help you a little.  ;)
