Sometimes (it happened this morning) I play a course and all of a sudden the graphics go crazy.
Icons dont display correctly, the background flashes and/or gets corrupted, everything gets jittery and sometimes the whole screen is completely unviewable.
Only happens very occasionally (well I dont play the game a lot nowadays).
I have a radeon r9 270x and play 1920x1080 on high, this for the majority of time is fine.
Anyone else experience this?

Hey Sheppy, I have not had this occur for me.  Is there a particular course that you've noticed it happening on?

Has anyone else experienced this?

I see the same issue on occasion as does my friend who plays with me often. We both run I7's and 4GB R9270x's, so it's not a lack of hardware capability.

I can only describe it as "graphics corruption". Hud indicators go black, grid lines on greens begin behaving erratically, trees and background objects flicker rampantly, and untextured yet colored  polygons of varying size and shape begin showing up randomly on the surfaces.

Generally, restarting the game corrects the problem.

Very similar to what happens to me.
It is not course specific either.

I play 2 to 3 rounds a day and it happens 1 or 2 times a week. I'm also running a 2g r9 270. I exit the game restart and plays ok.

Same here, as I've said in a previous thread, this is annoying and frustrating, especially when I am in the GNCD. I had a similar thing happen when I used to do some maps in CRYSIS and that was because I had selected an item and maximized it too much.
Anyway like everyone has said this is not specific to any one course, it can happen on any course I play, HB created ones or community...

Happens to me too. (Radeon 7950, Quadcore with 12 GB.)
When it happens and i want to exit, "golf.exe has a problem" (windows-message) is guaranteed.
golf.exe's Memorymanagement?

Ok I will set my rig to High and capture a screen shot when it happens.

As stated before,  once this happens, golf.exe registers a crash on exit. Restarting the game eliminates the graphics distortion (for a time).

That's what I was thinking too, I play this on my work PC and that has an NVidia card and I have had none of this problem at all. I am tempted to change the drivers on my ATI card for the beta version and see if that makes any difference.

Hello,

with latest ATI drivers and update I still have these graphic issues, not so often but still.

Do you guys investigated where could be the problem ?
