Im confident that the Driveclub delay is some kind of PR thing so that they can give a shock announcement at E3 about its release or something, lets wait and see.

Man 1080p at 60fps on the ps4 would be amazing.

I'll get it on PS4 if they can at least get 1080p at 30fps :)

Drive Club was not delayed again in fact it was never given a second release date to be delayed from. The article was about why it was delayed at launch but the way it was written made it sound like it was ANOTHER delay. It will come in Q2-Q3 of 2014. I am guessing in the summertime.

As for the people saying the XBONE will get better over time with better tools, yes you are right but the PS4 will do the same and there will never be a time where a multiplatform game performs better on Xbone. Xbone games will live in the 720 @ 60FPS or 900,1080@30FPS all gen. Just get used to it. New tools will not magically make your hardware better or fix your ESRAM bottleneck. Xbone was designed to be a media machine(which it does well) not a games machine. There is nothing wrong with owning one and games will still be just as fun on it. But don't kid yourself, PS4 has the better hardware and will run games better all gen.

My guess is they will be able to do 1080p @ 60fps on PS4 but Xbone will be 720p @ 60 or 1080p @ 30.

Like J said, I really hope they focus on 1080p @ 60fps and dial down the detail a bit to get there (if they have to)

This article is very encouraging however!!! Love it!

Pretty sure I stated the Xbox One will never meet or exceed the PS4 in rendering quality......

From the 1st XB1 press release it's been a huge disappointment.  The last thing I want from my gaming console is a media machine.  I want to play games with my gaming console.  That's why I'm jumping ship from Xbox360 to PS4.

Not everyone is disappointed in it. Disappointed in the hardware spec gap, but games play well on it and the rest of the "media features" work well. I will be getting a PS4 at some point so I will have the best of both worlds. If HBS ever updat this game with great Kinect functionality, the One will fulfill my Golf simulation needs....

I think the media part of the Xbox One was a major turn off for the majority, certainly was for outside the USA anyway seeing as you guys will get the best use of the features unlike Europe and the rest of the world.

I currently have an XBOX One and have enjoyed it so far.  I'm sort of torn like JCauthen on whether to get PS4 for The Golf Club and MLB the Show (and future Gran Turismo)?  I wonder how big a difference the controllers are (PS4 vs X1) in regards to playing The Golf Club?  I know on current gen, I preferred playing golf games with the Xbox 360 controller - the PS3 controller felt too loose with the swing mechanic and I would end up spraying the ball all over the course!
At any rate, I'm sure the game will look great on either next gen console - just torn which version of the Golf Club to buy based on the controller, not so much graphics.
I guess my point is I'd prefer gameplay over graphics any day. ;)

A few of us on here are hoping they will take advantage of the DS4 speaker, it's great.

There's internet rumour that they are holding it back to coincide with the potential release of the SONY Virtual Headset (similar to Oculus Rift).

Back on topic and the quality/FPS.

At present, people with high ed PC's are struggling to get 25FPS at low graphic settings, so I would expect the game would need some serious tweakage to run on consoles (and PC) at 60FPS in HD quality resolutions.

Thanks for alerting me to this; it will give me some homework to do.  I think the biggest problem I'm having committing to a PS4 purchase right now is the fact that there isn't a quality racing game on the market for it.  After what I read this week about DriveClub, I'm starting to think we'll see Project CARS before DriveClub, sometime this
Fall.  The XB1, OTOH, already has what I consider to be a quality racer in Forza 5, albeit with on a game controller steering option for me until Controller Max remedies that deficiency.

I'm sure that performance will improve over time.  I know Anthony said they were trying to optimize the game for the GDC next week, so we should see some evidence of this in the next beta build.  In my experience so far, TGC really starts coming alive at 35fps.  I'm having to make lots of compromises to the graphics detail and resolution to achieve that though.  I don't know how interested I would be in playing the game long term with the detail level I'm running now.  I know this, if HBS can match the detail of the PC version in its "high" graphics setting at 1920 x 1080,  in either or both the PS4 and XB1 at 1080p/60fps, The Golf Club will be a real head-turner.
