The Bell Tower Golf Club:

Far away across the fields,
The tolling of the iron bell,
Calls the faithful to their knees,
To hear the softly spoken magic spells.
(Roger Waters – Circa 1972)

Centred around a restored bell tower dating back to the Saxon era, this Nordic, open style, Boreal themed, par 72, 18 hole course, measures in at 6895 yards.

The mainly generous fairways offer little resistance to well planned and executed shots, whilst the greens tend to offer more of a challenge with their medium fast cut.

Although there are three or four surprises I have toned down my usual “fantasy” style to create a more realistic, relaxing experience which hopefully is a step in the right direction to achieving the next level on the designing ladder.

Obviously you guys will be the judge of that and for a little teaser of what's in store?

Check out the flyby video...........  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eab0OHDiEYg&feature=youtu.be

As always please feel free to comment, review as you see fit.. all feedback welcome.

Thanks in advance.

but only if you ride the tide,
balanced on the biggest wave,
you race toward an early grave."

Hi SMorris!

Just played some holes before working...
Great! :) Like the beautifull landscape and interesting coursedesign. Found the far viewdistance through the landscape with few trees really good.
And a bit wildlife is also there!
Tested St. Moritz Vally the first hole too. :) :o :) 8) Cool Rolercoaster feeling on the stairs.
Thanks for your work! :)

Greetings
Rolf

Thanks Rolf, appreciate your comments.

As for St. Moritz Valley that was one of my early creations & so long as your not looking for perfection or realism is a real blast to negotiate.

Don't recommend any b4 that one... they are awful & will be getting the boot as soon as HB allow us to delete / hide unwanted courses.

A very nice course, enjoyed it even though the back 9 proved tough for me...wayward drives are my achilles heel  :)

Hey! Biggins... As someone I consider a leader in the design field; I'd be very interested in your thoughts if & when you do play it.

Really nice course.  Some really creative stuff going on here, especially with the bell tower.

Some nice holes.  Unfortunately I played like a corpse so I didn't score well.  I don't think the screenshots do this justice.
