Hey Axel, have you tried clearing your cache? You can do so by: - Unplug your power cord and wait about 2 minutes or so, then plug your power cord back in and look at the light on your power brick. It will first glow bright white as if the Xbox was on. Wait until it changes to amber yellow and then turn your Xbox back on. You can also hold the power button on your system until it turns off, then wait about 60 seconds, and reboot.
As for the 'updates', I'm not sure which you are referring to? Do you mean messages in the message centre from friends activities? And updates on course page? Please clarify.
