Hi guys,
As mentioned in this weeks Dev Diary, after the great feedback over the Christmas period, we were wondering if you would like us to make the Winter Theme available in the next update.
It's a few days work for us, but if enough people want it we'll push to get it in.

Vote Yes or No above

thanks
Anthony

I've voted 'no', but only because I think time may be better spent elsewhere.  For me, it was a nice novelty but I can't honestly see many people building any courses in it.
Courses published to date:

The Hathaway Par 3 Course, Stratford-Upon-Avon Hotel & Resort
The Shakespeare, Stratford-Upon-Avon Hotel & Resort
Loch Lorne Golf Club
Isla Madeleine Resort
Vale Do Morgado
Ascona National
Hitchens Valley Hotel and Golf Club
Nazca Valley Golf Club
Sevenlakes On The Vale

While a great idea for the holidays, I honestly don't see myself ever choosing to design and/or play a course in this theme.  I would rather see the time put towards something else.
My latest courses:
Par 3 Tournament Course at Hunter Meadows
Devil's Whisper
Golf Club at Hunter Meadows
Durham Springs

I like the idea, it would be nice to design a course using it.

I would Rather you work on improving links theme etc and the others than working on a Snow theme but i assume the serious designers will say No,the fun designers will say yes to this one.

I agree with all the comments above. I would rather see the other themes be upgrading and improved before we do a winter wonderland course. Besides winter will be over in 2 months so no point in having it at this point. These courses you made were fine enough and maybe implement this in an update near the holidays later on this year.

Wow, I'm actually pretty surprised at the number of nos.

More themes the better, even if this is a bit more novelty, I guess I'm of the theory if you don't like it don't use it.

it's a yes from me.

I vote yes purely based on the short amount of workload.       the facts are,   this is a game and it will never be real life so why not have it added for variety.

however,   I do agree that there are other things people have wanted in this game like a tropical theme,   fixes to incumbent themes,  etc..... so as long as the work put into the winter theme isn't taking away from more important features then I feel its a no brainer to add it for the next update.

I can understand how by doing this it could be viewed as hbs prioritizing improperly but at the end of the day only hbs truely knows how much time is devoted to each new feature that is added.   I believe what they're saying is would you play it or like it?       forget about it taking time away from other things.

Please HB,  give us a way to share user created society templates of our tour course schedules.

Yes, please. The more themes the better. Variety is good.  :)

I'd rather see the time spent optimizing the original 5 themes to bring them to the grapics quality of Boreal/Countryside.
Lots of versions due to refurbishments.
Play the ones exactly how they're listed here:
Tulip Point CC-Queen's Course
Tulip Point-Prince Course
Tulip Point-Royal Forest
Tulip Pt.-King's Course
Tulip Pt.-Royal Meadow
*All courses above have B, C, D versions*

Also,
Timber Trails (RCR)

*shrug*

I really don't care either way. I can think of some ideas that could be cool using the theme so I would NEVER be against having it...but I don't think it's anything I'd cry about not having.
